Chiusura del 5th International SCHOLAS CHAIRS CONGRESS alla FORDHAM University
Si è realizzato all'Università Fordham di New York, in seno al Congresso annuale di SCHOLAS CHAIRS, il secondo incontro internazionale degli studenti Scholas Chairs.
Un momento di lavoro di gruppo
Visita al progetto YMCA, Harlem


Una tre giorni all'insegna della partecipazione ad alcune attività del congresso, della realizzazione di workshop ed attività specifice di formazione e alla visita di progetti sociali nella comunità con l'obiettivo di: 'Provocare e facilitare lo sviluppo di una cittadinanza globale pro-attiva e la realizzazione di esperienze di mobilità internazionale, incontro, dialogo e responsabilità dell'Università, attraverso il messaggio e la proposta pedagogica di Papa Francesco.'

Le 'Cattedre Scholas' (SCHOLAS CHAIRS) sono parte integrante di SCHOLAS OCCURRENTES, un'iniziativa promossa da Papa Francesco che punta all'affermazione della cultura dell'incontro per la pace mediante l'istruzione e il coinvolgimento dei giovani di tutto il mondo. Si propongono di essere dei punti di riflessione e di azione, collegati in una rete in cui ogni soggetto (docenti, ricercatori, studenti) si arricchisce nell'incontro con l'altro, attraverso i vincoli che si sviluppano tra le diverse università, le scuole e i progetti della piattaforma Scholas Social.
